Reservation Policy for the Summer Season
    (May 15 – September 15) of 2010:

Reservations for the 2010 Summer Season will be taken by telephone during office hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily according to the schedule listed below:

    January 2-7 Reservations for a minimum 5 night stay.

    January 8-14 Reservations for a minimum 4 night stay.

    January 15 Reservation for a minimum 3 night stay.

Beginning March 1st, reservations for shorter times during the summer will be accepted. A reservation of two nights minimum is required. A three night minimum stay is required for summer and all holiday reservations.

In order to hold your reservation, a deposit of ½ of your entire stay is required. This amount covers ½ half of the basic charge and must be received NO LATER THAN five (5) working days from the date of making your reservation. You may mail a check/money order or call in your credit card number. Reservations not secured by the deadline WILL BE DELETED and filled from our waiting list. No checks will be accepted after January.

Your deposit will be forfeited if you cancel any reservation less than 30 days prior to arrival date or are a “no show” by 8 AM the following morning after the arrival date. There is a $10.00 cancellation/rebooking fee. There is no refund for early departures. You are responsible for payment of days you reserve - no exceptions.

We regret to inform our guests who are pet owners that we are no longer accepting pets at the pecan farm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you would like help finding boarding accommodations for your pet(s) in the Uvalde/Leakey area, please call our office and we will be glad to provide you with phone numbers of area boarders.

Summer Rates:

Cabins #1 – 17

Each air conditioned log cabin has two bedrooms with queen sized beds (linens furnished), one couch (makes into a double bed), color TV, DSS Satellite, VCR, covered porch (lawn chairs provided) fully equipped kitchen, BBQ pit and picnic table. Sixteen cabins are available. Six have 1 bath (on river side), ten have 2 baths (on orchard side). An onsite washateria is available. The rate is $175.00 per night Weekdays (Sun-Thurs) and $185.00 per night for Weekends. (Fri-Sat).

Additional Fees:

The basic rate is for four (4) people and one (1) vehicle per cabin. Additional person(s), including children is $7.50 per person per night. A maximum of 6 people per cabin. Only two vehicles per cabin – there is a $5.00 charge per night for the second vehicle. We will be issuing a car pass for every vehicle staying with us.

House #18 – 3 Bedroom 2 Bath

House #18 is fully furnished, color TV with DSS Satellite and VCR, front and back porches, Two bedrooms have queen size beds. The third bedroom has a double bunk with a single bunk and attached bath. This house used to be our game room. It is located directly across from the office and next to the fire ring. The rate is $350.00 per night up to 10 people.

House #19 – 3 Bedroom 3 Bath

House #19 is fully furnished, color TV with DSS Satellite and VCR, front and back deck, large living area and a beautiful fireplace. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed and attached bath. The third bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds and attached bath. The house has a large deck with a beautiful view of the river. This house also has an RV site that may be rented $37.50 a night. The rate is $385 per night for up to 10 people.

Houses #20 & #21 – 4 bedroom 4 bath

Houses #20 and #21 are fully furnished, color TV with DSS Satellite and VCR, front and back porches, large living area, and a beautiful fireplace. All four bedrooms have two (2) queen size beds and attached bath (4 total). Both houses have a beautiful view of the river and their own private yard with fire ring. The rate is $500.00 per night up to 16 people and two cars.

337 River House (with bunkhouse):

The “337 River House” with bunkhouse, is located on 2 acres just north of the “Farm” less than ¼ mile on the left. The house has three bedrooms and 2½ baths and has all the amenities of the cabins. The bunkhouse has one bath, several beds, refrigerator, microwave, and color TV with DSS Satellite. There is private access to the river and a beautiful swimming area. There is also a 20 x 30 foot covered cabana with fire pit located next to the river. It is furnished with water, electricity, sink, picnic tables and BBQ pit. This house is ideal for multi-family gatherings who prefer a more private setting. The rate is $585.00 per night and will sleep 24 people.

Check-in time for Cabins/Houses – 2:00 p.m., check-out 11:00 a.m.

Towels are provided September 15 to May 15th. (Except for Spring Break) If your reservation is at any other time during the year you need to bring towels. We do not provide a daily maid service.

If you will be arriving after 5 PM please let us know and we will leave your cabin open. Late arrivals can check the bulletin board in the front of the office for cabin assignment.

Rules (also apply to 337 river house):

Four-wheelers are not allowed at the Frio Pecan Farm.
No smoking in the Cabins/Houses.
No firearms of any kind.

Entrance Gate:

The entrance gate will close at midnight and open at 6 AM. After midnight, you will be able to leave, but not re-enter. If you are going to arrive after midnight you must call ahead to make arrangements to enter the “Farm”. This is done to provide a peaceful and quiet stay for all guests.

As all of you know, we make every effort to see you get the cabin you have requested; however, sometimes it is just not possible, therefore no specific cabin is guaranteed. If you have been moved, it is due to scheduling and was unavoidable.
